Alec Dickson Trust
Funding is available to help young people to run a project in their local area anywhere in the UK that involves local volunteers. Grants of up to £500 are available.

The Archer Trust
The Trust awards grants to small UK charities involved in projects to support needy or deserving people. Grants of between £250 and £3,000 are available and applications can be made at any time.  The Trustees meet to consider applications twice a year, normally in March and September.

B&Q - Waste Donation Scheme
B&Q, through its UK and Republic of Ireland stores, donates unsalable products to community groups, charities and schools for projects that will benefit the local community. Items should be used for projects which benefit the local community and the environment.

Francis Winham Foundation
Grant for registered charities undertaking welfare projects for elderly people. Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees. Previous grants have been for up to £46,000. Most grants are for less than £5,000.

Frederick Soddy Trust - Expeditions and Fieldwork Grant
Grant for voluntary and community groups undertaking an expedition or field work projects. Grants are normally made up to £2,000. The application process is ongoing and interested applicants may apply at any time.

Gordon Fraser Charitable Trust
The Gordon Fraser Charitable Trust offers grants to registered charities.
The scheme is intended to support projects relating to young people, people with disabilities, the environment and the arts.

Heart Research UK - Healthy Heart Grants
Heart Research UK Healthy Heart Grants support innovative projects designed to promote heart health and to prevent or reduce the risks of heart disease in specific groups or communities.
Grants of up to £10,000 are available to community groups and voluntary organisations that are spreading the healthy heart message. Government or local authority funded institutions are not supported, however, community and voluntary groups aided by public money may apply.
Applications are only accepted during February for the May round of grants and July and August for grants awarded in November, each year.

Hedley Denton Charitable Trust
Grant for voluntary and community organisations in the carrying out a range of charitable projects. Previous grants have been for between £250 and £2,000.

The Hollick Family Charitable Trust offers grants to charitable organisations working in the UK for general charitable purposes. Previous grants have been for between £1,000 and £15,000.

Inman Charity
Grants are available for registered charities carrying out medical, social welfare or general welfare activities. Applications must be received by the end of February or the end of August each year to be considered at the Spring or Autumn meetings.

John Coates Charitable Trust
The John Coates Charitable Trust provides grants to UK registered charities for general charitable purposes. Grants are made for between £1,000 and £10,000.

The John Coates Charitable Trust does not maintain a website or an email address. Groups should write to the Trust for further information on how to apply.

John Rayner Charitable Trust
The scheme is intended to support registered charities undertaking projects with the following themes:

·         Medical or disability, including research, treatment or care.
·         Children.
·         The elderly.
·         Community projects.
·         The arts.

Grants are made between the values of £1,000 and £3,000. Applications should be made in writing and will not be accepted via email. There is no application form so letters should contain:

·         Details of the Charity
·         What the funding is needed for e.g.: special projects, core funding
·         Simple copy of the accounts

Grant applications are considered in February and only successful applicants will be contacted thereafter.

John Warren Foundation
The scheme is intended to support churches in undertaking building repairs, or religious advancement. Grants are made between the values of £500 and £1,250 for costs associated with eligible activities and projects.

Kelly Family Charitable Trust
Grants are provided to charities whose activities nurture and support family life. Two application deadlines annually: 1 March and 1 September. The Trust offers both capital and revenue grants.  Applications are also considered for core funding from relatively new organisations seeking to become established. Grants will generally be given in the range of £1,000 to £5,000 but will occasionally be in excess of that.

LankellyChase Foundation
The Foundation is focused exclusively on bringing about change that will transform the quality of life of people who face severe and multiple disadvantage in the UK. By severe and multiple disadvantage the Foundation particularly means people who are experiencing a combination of severe social harms such as homelessness, substance misuse, mental illness, extreme poverty, and violence and abuse. Santander Foundation – Community Plus
Grants are available to registered charities for local projects that help disadvantaged people. Grants of up to £5,000 are available and only registered charities with local projects that benefit disadvantaged people may apply.

The Shears Foundation
Grant for registered charities conducting projects with a wide range of charitable purposes. Registered charities can apply for funding for projects in the fields of community development, environmental issues, sustainable development, health and welfare and cultural developments all with an emphasis on education and raising awareness.

Will Charitable Trust
Support is available for activities that fall within the following categories: Conservation of the countryside in Britain; Care of people suffering from cancer and their families; Care of blind people and the prevention and cure of blindness; and Care of people with learning disabilities. Most grants fall within the range of £5,000 to £20,000, applicants whose work relates to blindness and learning disabilities should apply by 31 January each year, those within cancer care and conservation should apply by 31 August each year.
